Original GM900s came in a n/a 2.0 (130 hp), n/a 2.3 (150 hp) and turbo 2.0 (185 hp) for the 4 cylinder engines. The 2.5 was a n/a 6 cylinder engine (V6, 170 hp).
Abbott Racing do a 2.3 conversion with the 2.0 turbo block, replacing the crankshaft, pistons and rods.
Abbott Thailand have a 400++ hp modified 900... (don't mind the spelling - English isn't their first language, and the Thai writing - if your browser supports it - merely says 'click to enlarge')

The 2.3 was naturally aspirated. No 2.3 Turbo on the gm900. (Except for the concept Viggen but that's another story )

Oh, and to actually answer the question - NO, they did not have a 2.3 Turbo motor in the NG900. Ever.
(unless you count concept cars or cars that people have put the 2.3T into from a 9000)
