|Johnz826||urs gave out that soon? mine finally gave at 180k but it was about time. Good point to bring up about the alternator, cuz that can be a pain if they go on u while ur driven, happened to me barely made it home.|

Did they swap over your engine accesories or use the one from the other engine.
Point being, my Alternator went at about 120k miles. Be ready for it.

|Johnz826||Then u should be in good shape for right now the way it sounds. But wat about a radiator flush? most people over look that and it is pretty important, cuz its do a major part by keepin the engine cool. Get that flushed so that sludge doesn't start to buil up, and u can do that once a year. Other then that jus keep up wit her the way ur doin it and u won't any major problems. Promise.|

|soccerrplyr||Synthentics been done for the past 2 years, auto fluid changesd 25k ago, sparks less than a year, gapped 4 weeks ago, front brakes/rotors changed 2 weeks ago, rears look ok and ebrake works well.. no sicking or anything, air filter 1 year old, fuel filler 1 year, di 1 year old,|

|Johnz826||Well if ur not on syntehtic u might as well switch it to that. Manual tran.fluid should be changed at about 100k. Get new spark plugs, check timing, radiator flush, brakes check especially e-barke, air filter, and you should be good from there.|

120,000 service soon up
My 99 9-3 will soon reach the 120,000 mark, but the engine itself only has 80k because the old one had sludge issues and I replaced it 2 yrs ago. Anyway, what should should be looked over and changed at this point, engine and mechanically wise.
