mike d nerr tells you that you the number of codes stores, Fcod tels you what the code is in hex format,, if you use a hex translator with the number fcod throws out, you will get the normal obd2 code out of it

g96nt here's one document I find with google. it kiiinda answers the question on the very last page. not sure who created it, but it's somewhat helpful.

g96nt There's information out there for what the info is, but I always have such a hard time finding out which mode they're in. I found the Fcod, it's under mode-0, but my SID always defaults to mode-7

I have a code for DIC non-powered. I freaked for a minute, then realized it's likely from me cranking the car for a minute or two with the DIC unplugged to prime the power steering pump and make sure the serpentine belt was lined up when I just replaced the pump.

oliversexpedition Sorry its from another forum. Just marking this post because I'm also interested in figuring out what all the readings OpenSID mean.

Is there one? I've got a Nerr=1, and I wanted to see what it was without one of the 'tards at autozone. Quick question is... what mode is Fcod under?
for better info, is there a link to an open SID "tree/flowchart"?

I thought I had it from a wiki, but I deleted the link since it was constantly "hacked".
