Yep keep the white one.

I would soo keep the white one and use it for a ginnie pig for the aero. Meaning put a motor in it and any tuning experimients i would run in it first for a while before giving it to the bread winner. Sounds like you have a lot to give thanks for good find.

BurnsSide42 shame - that white Wagon looks nice too. Drop a 9000 motor in it and have 2!

Chips900S Nice work! That wagon looks to nice to use as parts though, you could just get a B234 block and swap it into it and have 2 Saab's!

Thanksgiving vacation project

So last month my car became a victim of a knocking piston in my high school graduation present white 99 9-5 wagon and so i scrambled to get some money up to swap the motor and the mechanic i deal with who is a saab specialist, called me and was like let me just tell you before i make a deposit on a new motor i just got a 01 9-5 aero wagon 5spd 100k miles. which a dealer gave to me who just needs it gone and ill give it to you for $4000. so it was paying for a motor swap which was $3100 or get a sick ass aero wagon. so i was like with no hesitation of thinking in my brain i said ill buy it man. so then that day after work i go take it for a spin with my girlfriend and i love the feel whoever had it treated it with care. it had a couple body cosmetic issues but my best friend is an auto body guy who can help me out so thats no problem. and the wiper motor was bad but i just swapped it with the white wagon. i basically got the car for a good price and i have a parts car which i can use to make money or use parts to fix issues with the aero if need be.
So today early thanksgiving im putting my front mount intercooler, genuinesaab turbo intake, open air intake, and forge diverter valve on. if i have time ill slap the exhaust on too, but i dont want to spend all thanksgiving making love to my car. here some pics of me swappin the windshield wiper motor and hood decal. more updated pics of the project will come later today.
