An adaptation run wouldn't hurt.
Disconnect the negative lead from the battery for a bit (to reset the ECU). Go for a drive, doing a series of pulls in third or so - start from ~30mph and keep pulling until the end of the gear. Do it a couple of times until your boost pressure is consistent.

is there a relearn process that I need to go through when replacing the ecu that has been staged in replacement for the oem one?
