Unfortunately, thats up to Photobucket and their policies. We have no control over this.

We don't have control over what Photobucket did with the links but there is a temporary fix, which are the browser extensions.

Our development are currently working on something that may fix the Photobucket issue. In the meantime, if you need to edit any images, you can follow the instructions above.

Photobucket sucks almost as much as VerticalScope.
Some forums host a limited amount of photos for users--which enables them to maintain intellectual property--that could be one solution, as compared to your totally unworkable and unrealistic recommendation that no one is going to actually execute. But that would require interaction and maybe some investment and a small amount of actual value-add management though, something VerticalScope isn't interested in performing.
Natalie, send me a PM if VerticalScope ever wants to sell the site back to real enthusiasts who would provide content and input to grow it again, vs. slowly letting it die and spamming it with useless robot ads like you guys are doing.

You can choose what you would like to do in terms of switching over to another hosting site - just be cautious and mindful that it may only be a matter of time til they follow suit (to what Photobucket did). The instructions provided above is a temporary fix that we can offer at the moment to help restore your images until we have a more concrete solution soon.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This sucks what photobucket is doing. Being a member of over a dozen different forums this is literally causing most of them to come to a screeching halt as well as so much valuable information being lost forever.
FWIW, a couple of years ago, I opted to buy their $2.99/month plan to gain some extra storage and so far all of my stuff seems to be working. Who knows for how long, but I have literally thousands of pictures saved to my account over nearly a decade of forum-ing and it would be labor prohibitive to deal with moving them now.
Unfortunately I'm afraid that this will be the end for many forums as many people have been leaning towards using only facebook anymore. It's really pretty depressing.

|Jameson||Nope, no fixing. I moved all my pics to Imgur and deleted my PB account.|

|Tboy||Photobucket broke the interweb! There is a ton of outrage out there. I know I won't be fixing any of my links as well. Way too much effort.|

I have way too many photos shared in this site from photobucket. It really sucks, and would be a ton of work to fix all of the links.
I'm sorry everyone. Any photo shared by me will unfortunately be broken forever, unless photobucket changes their policy.

Announcement - Photobucket images no longer working
Photobucket.com has recently changed its terms of service for free users on their platform. As of June 20 images hosted by Photobucket and shared on our forum, or any other third party sites, will no longer appear. As a result, you may notice a higher amount of broken images on the forum.
If you do not have access to edit your older posts please contact an Administrator or Moderator for assistance. Please provide the new URL for the image that needs to be edited and a link to the thread the image in located in.
