Trionic3000 Yeah, unfortunately I think you would have to come through from the inside, behind the glovebox and such.

Thanks! I got hadn't even gotten to it with my torque stick before it broke.

I am in Colorado...

I don't have a rig welder yet... and by the feel of it getting a bolt in there would be awfully difficult unless I entered through the cabin..?

I don't have any photos. I'll try and get some but I think you know exactly what I am talking about

Trionic3000 I don't remember exactly how things are there on that mount, but I think you're talking about a spot welded stud that's sticking out? I guess you'll have to either break it off the whole way, drill a hole, and use a through-bolt and nut; or weld something back on. Do you have a TIG welder? Or, do you have a picture of what you're talking about?

Steering Rack Brace

Just installed a steering Rack Brace on my viggen. For the most part it was a pretty straight forward install although I have a bit of a problem!

After snugging down the top of the two clamp bolts I began tightening the bottom nut that has the protruding frame screw... next thing you know... click!!! The damn thing broke off about halfway through tightening?!?!?!?!

I don't know what to do about the situation... is it fixable?
