A. 1997 Motronic N/A (B204) cylinder head
B. professional aluminum welding to close up the 2 gaps at B202 chain cover
C. Self made fabrication to accommodated AC and PS pulleys
D. B202 intake and exhaust cams
E. B202 cam gears
F. New chain
G. Professional pressure test
H. Professional machine skim
I. Completely cleaned and oiled
J. Relocated dash engine heat temp sensor to stat housing
K. New B202 head gasket
A. 2.1 N/A intake manifold
B. B204 intake gasket
C. Red Top injectors
D. B212 flute fuel rail powder coated
E. 3 bar FPR from 2.1 N/a
A. Mitsu TE-05 12b
B. fully rebuilt with new internals
C. Well cleaned and sandblasted cast iron parts
D. Professional balance
A. 1997 SAAB 900 SE Troinic 5 engine management sensors
B. Mike D tuned ECU mapped for Mitsu turbo and T5.2 bin flashes
D. 2.1 N/A CPS
E. 91 9000 N/A 3 slotted trigger behind crank pulley

A. 3 speed Borg & Warner box...(no turbo lag)...
B. Completely removed all type F including torque converter
C. New filter

E. no need to touch the bands, box shifted without fault so leave alone
F. Cleaned oil sump back to cast.

weather here has been picture perfect the past 2 weeks.
washed it and pulled in the garage. removed the ECU and headed to FedEx
guess I will tighten up that bumper while the car is down...
that's it for now.. gudday...

then i pulled the the spare tools box. it looks rather tired. the boot will get a complete make over as well.
I pulled the foremost portion of my NA boot floor board before I sold the car to salvage. so the boot will get fresh flooring and add the NA floor board and rst the spare tire underneath the floor board after a few mods
so tackling the easy stuff, the box will be remade with Florida Cedarwood.
I began by removing the box and its straps. I picked up a remnant leather bit from the surplus store for 2.00 and cut the straps that hold the box closed.
a nice thick quality piece of hide with really nice colour.

so carrying on with my wood project I added a new bit to the rest of the veneer work.
this look familiar?
it's the good for nothing coin holder near the interior dome light switch in the lower center console.
well I cut off the bottom
then I cut a lil piece of veneer to add an additional switch.
this will control the extra floor lights I added.
once this is stained and varnished I will have questions on how to wire this..
for now here is the initial start...
gonna take the switch over to a graphic shop and have then put a tiny label on the switch that will read "floor"..
cause I am anal like that.....

|Saabeh||It was mainly a joke, but I think its silly to only have one car that is an ongoing project that you rely on. Things happen, that's why I have 3 cars and 2 bikes (actually I am just crazy and love paying sales tax).|

My car is perfect. no mechanical issues. runs just as good as anything else on the road and equally reliable.... its a 2014 C900.... look back a few pages. the motor is brand new and whats not brand new has been 100% restored. top and bottom.
is not a grocery getter
its not a weekend car
its not a garage piece
its a practical reliable well engineered automobile... simple... the year mean nothing at this point because every mechanic aspect of the car is either spanking brand new or refurbished....
Only problem I have at the moment is renting a car for 2 days until I get my computers back.

Phoned Mike D today to check on the status of my spare T5.2 ECU I sent him on my CT trip a few weeks back,.....
he needs the existing ECU in order to reflash the new one (how do I get to work now????)....
Uber is illegal in Florida.... Damn...
Good news is, I can now have the Check engine lamp for purge valve corrected and have 2 clean ECU's..
Just gotta figure out transpo for a couple days......

added some 7 inch LEDs in lower spoiler to brighten up my night drive.
paired with these headlight bulbs
Day time running LEDS like all the late model vehicles on the road today..

I own 2 Saabs and 2 Volvos.. While the Saabs are more fun, the Volvos have proven to be much more dependable.
Not sure if I could ever bring myself to own a Gm Saab though.. Just not the same thing. (the only exception being a LB Viggen).

my sisters very nice Volvo SUV... solid car..
. feels nice and classy inside. no cheap plastic bits and the wood grain is very attractive. classic...
based on the P2 platform and made in Torslanda Sweden I think I found my Swedish replacement when I get sick of these old beasts..
