bergie yeah the inner side of the bumper where it goes along with the fender liners, you have the 90 degree lip where the tab is on...just file the tab back and rivet right where it would be.

How is that minty spoiler I sold you holding up ?

thaedge Nice, good idea, and you are talking about the tabs/lips that hold the bumber into the fender area, like the side of the bumper?

bergie it was riveted into the inner lip of the bumper, what was left of the existing is cut back flush with lip..i just blended them in with paint..didn't mud over them or anything, you don't even notice them.

thaedge Bergi, did you rivet them directly into what was left of the existing tab, or did you rivet through the viggen bumper into the finished pain and then blend and repaint over them?

bergie You can cut new steel/sheetmetal tabs and rivet them in to the plastic. I had this done on one of my vig bumpers and it held great.

viggen bumper fitment

Hey all, my viggen front bumer is F'd. the tabs on either side that attach to the bumber stays are broken off, the sides don't click in or hold as they should.

Anybody else with experience in making a viggen bumper look somewhat good with these issues. I've got some "fancy" zip tie work going on currently, which is making is driveable, and looking somewhat good, but I'm sure there are people out there who have made shottier bumbers work for their car.

Thanks for any help.
