|seriks1||Does the temp flip on the pass side and in the rear also, or just driver side? I think you need to drop the panel down and physically investigate your blend door operation, don't rely 100% on the self diagnostics|

|kalbers||I've noticed lately with the hotter weather (80+ degrees) and having the car on recirculation mode it hasn't been doing it as often, twice I have driven home and it has not flipped to hot as long as I had recirc on. Any one any other ideas?|

I have a similar issue. I don't have A/C, but at times no matter what I set the temp to, it will blow hot. And I believe vice versa, no matter the temp, it'll blow cool air. I'll have to double check on the later of the two situations next time to confirm. My ACC only throws a code that has labeled it corrupted (just needs to be reset with tech2).. I can't recall the exact number at the moment, but it doesn't seem to be related to the heat issue.
I ordered the blend shaft repair arm from gs. I should be able to inspect it sometime this week. Other than blend door related, I'm stumped as well..

02 9-5, flips between hot and cold
Car is an 02 9-5. Will be driving with the A/C on and every ten minutes the cold air turns to hot for about 2-3 min and then will go back to cold air. I ran the diagnostic using the temp control system and no codes came up. I have tried having it not on "auto" and trying different cold temps but it still happens that every so often, even though the setting is set to cold it will blow hot air for about 2-3 min. Is this the electronic control system or is this sound like a blend door issue?
