i found out how to get the second rear foglight to work on the 9-5! on each side there are plastic holders that hold the reverse light bulb and the bulb for the reverse foglight and these plastic holders have metal wrapped all over them used as a conductor for the bulbs. and i noticed the one the side where the reverse foglight doesn't work, the metal is broken neatly where it travels over a small open square, and on the same spot where the bulb does work, this spot in the metal is perfectly intact. this is a crude picture of the two pieces that i'm talking about. look at the middle of each piece there is a rectangular opening then to the upper left of each of those are a smaller rectangular opening but on the top on the metal is connected and the bottom one isn't connected. ![]() i ended up just bending the broken metal piece down and then soldering it together, and now it works as well as the other side does thanks for bringing up this post, or i probably never would have taken a closer look into this on my car. |

thats true. it is bright. ive used mine for backing up when its really dark and hard to see. and to use 2 of them 9-5 aero, you might have to cut out some plastic on the right side lamp to make it fit in. its very easy to do. the ng900/9-3 guys dont need to do this though. |

aero1116 | It's only one light. It is quite bright however... when you drive on a badly lit road at night, turn it on and look back... that shit is bright!

Redfoxx | ya i think using a two rear fog lights in some places is illegal so Saab just has one of them workable but i know that Audi has both that work. i didn't know that you had to switch out the second bulb, i've got one there and the bulb isn't broken and all the wiring is all hooked up.

They did that so people would not confuse them with brake lights on foggy nights. But jerks like me put another bulb in and use them as fake brake lights for tailgaters. |

Rear Fog Light on '02 Aero Hi, One of my rear fog lights is out on my Aero. Is this a difficult fix? I do NOT want to leap before looking and therefore wanted to ask for some help/advice/guidance. What type of bulbs are needed ect? Thanks!!! |
