MP Performance in my inbox.....

Quote:
MP Performance has moved to a new location. We have been moving to the new location for the past three months. The reason we have moved is to have more efficient manufacturing environment. Our old location was approximately 1500 square feet while our new location is approximately 10,000 square feet. We have also invested into some new machines to allow us to work more efficiently and produce more complicated products.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Todd Clark who is now in charge of all manufacturing. Todd has been in the manufacturing industry for over 17 years. In addition Todd was the rookie of the year for the 2005 Open Wheel Colorado Hill Climb Association (CHCA) and finished the season fifth in points.

If you have called or emailed customer service during the past three months you have met Matthew Bondar who is now in charge of customer service and marketing. Matthew has been in the customer service industry for 15 years. We are excited to finally have one person handling all the customer service issues so question can be answered in a timely manner. We hope to get up our new phone number on the site soon, so those who have not been able to talk to Matthew will have the opportunity.

If you have stopped by the shop you have meet with Andy Smith who is our new mechanical engineer. Andy is nice addition to the engineering department with past experiences in the automotive industry. Andy’s innovative designs will soon be on the website and we think you will agree.

We also want to thank you for being patient with us during the past few months. It has not been an easy move for us and we believe that we are finally up to 100%. We look forward to working with you in the future. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

MP Performance LLC

how are they gonna move to a HUGE ass factory and make tons of parts when everyone is afraid to order from them

seriously though, I wish them the best, I hope they sort out the kinks in their products and service and get back on track. hopefully adding Audi products to the lineup will help them with new customers and cash flow and not just make them too busy to do anything again.

I remember when i was working there last year it was actually a pretty small shop, and i was frankly suprised how good they did for being soo small. Im pretty sure if they get a bigger shop thing would probally turn out for the better.

At least we now know where all the money they collected for orders that were never filled went (although I still suspect it was spent on beer and strippers at SEMA!).

I just now got my car running after they had it for two weeks in august, then I was on my own after the car was towed to my town (I live 1 hour away) I mean I have known Chris for over a year now and he told me how they could handle what I needed done, but it just did not get done for multiple reasons, not all of which were MP's fault- keep in mind they did put in 18 hour days working on my car. We will see if Chris tries to rectify my situation or not ( I am sure he will and that it is just a matter of time) so until then I wish them the best.

Sounds like this move may be just what they need

i didnt get it either, and does this mean that chris is no longer the owner/running the place??

they certainly did talk the talk, but never seemed to follow through on any promises. It took me two months to get my downpipe from them. If they can turn things around, thats great, but i think they have lost too much business to really get back into the saab scene

i dont know, maybe with this new guy things will change, true, they have lost alot of our trust and money, but they still have the potential to do well.

at its core, they are still a buncha saab guys, not business men, thats why i think they suck so much at CS. no real life retail expirience. I think its just guys like you and me trying to create an aftermarket for saab.

i got the email 3 times lol...

Yes, Chris is still there. The new team will be ready to take on orders shortly. The goal is to catch up by the new year, the start with new orders and such at that point.
