Max out?

I was talking to a guy at work, who has a good deal of knowledge about cars.
He said that my car would max out and start shutting down at 125 mph. Is this true for a stock Ng900-NA?

What is the max out for a NG900-NA?

I have my mom's with me, but it would be a bad idea to try.

I got my 89 900S up to 100, but I doubt the NG900S could go much faster than 125.

I've discovered that even people who know a lot about cars frequently still don't know that much about Saabs. Two of my friends, one a master mechanic, the other an experienced tinkerer/upgrader both assured me that I couldn't top 120. I hit 130 on the expressway on 2 different occasions.

Well hope your friend is ok

People always seem to think just because it looks like the family car it'll never top 80.
Saabs may look domesticated but I dont think they've had their shots yet.
