My favorite turbo sound...

Man, if I could only get my ng900 to run and sound like this car I should have that as my ringtone... Check it with speakers up!

Thats definitely quick, and one of the nicer sounding 240's ive seen. Wonder what exhaust hes running, cuz that is alot less "tinny" than all the sr20 swaps around here.

so many people around here are doing 240's, it seams like every kid who started out on a civic has no moved on to the 240.

I guess cheap + RWD + light + cheap motor swap = pretty fun car

I'll have to agree. The 240 scene has grown tremendously in the last couple years. It could be compared to the honda scene, however I think the guys in the 240's are, for the most part, better educated (auto mechanics wise) and less about the "blang blang" and altezzas.

I think he just has the WG dumping to the atmosphere. My SPG uses the MUCH smaller cousin to the 3076 & I run 21 PSI being dumped to the atmosphere. Of coarse my acceleration is probably 1/2 of what the 240 is but this is what it sounds like from outside the car.

But one quick question: Why is this in the NG/OG N/A forum?

Last time I checked all the guys originally building fast honda's have upgraded to s2k's or subies.

The 240 scene is less underground then it was before due to the increase in the "drifting" popularity. But still see plenty of ricers with their stock ka24's thinking they are tokyo drift, hahaha

Still plenty of noobs no matter what the badge on your car says.

I agree with you, I want to do another fast car, but when I see and hear videos of cars like this it makes me wonder if I should jump ship and build a 240sx or a subby or a rx7 or 280z or somthing rear wheel drive.

I have spent most of my time behind fwd cars and they have their advantages, but also have many dis-advantages as we all know. I tell you the thought of being able to get a little side-ways every now and then sounds like fun. Drifting might be fun too and the availability of all the parts for these Jap cars is amazingly large and cheap compared to our cars.

I do like the individuality of a fast fwd Saab, but it sure makes me wonder if I should just build a cheap, light rwd car.

I tell you though, I did have the only Saab at Tuner Mayham and it won every race it was in and that got lots of attention and made me feel pretty good. Beat a 2007 911 and a very fast Volkswagen gti. Its fun to go fast in a car that nobody else has, but the vert is just not the best car for racing. Sure gets lots of attention though...

John

I'm glad you got respect, I get nothing but crap from all the subaru drivers in my area. It gets a bit annoying after a while.

Maybe once you start breaking into the high 12's(and he is at a high altitude as well) they will change their tune
