    You should be totally fine with those. The con-rods are ridiculously strong. They only tend to break and punch lovely holes in the block if the pistons break in the bores. With the JE slugs you're ready to put down some serious power with the GT3071....Streetable, but extremely quick.

    hey mike i was just looking up on some peoples threads about their engine biulds and am curius about the lower end of the 234 rods bolts. are you using stock con rod bolts with your turbo set up? i cant find any after market bolts and it seems everyone else has stock bolts also..... i had my block bored .5mm(235 viggen) on each cylender for a 20 over bore,and am using rods and the crank form a 95 234 areo with je pistons,i just wanted to check with some of you guys to see if you though i was be safe using them on a gt3071 setup.
