Hi - I just wanted to know how the B204 block works with the T7 head? I'm about to do the same (I have a good B204 complete engine and a bad B205 complete engine). In fact I thought putting the whole B204 and replacing the ECU (and other required?). I'd appreciate if you could tell me if the simpler swap you did (i.e. only the B204 cylinder block) works nice.

We already thought also using only the B204 cylinder block but the B205 valve head is different (a hole more than the 204) and the B205 head gasket is different too (a hole more than the B204) - thus the mechanic stopped everything.
I consulted a Saab specialist too and he told me the B204 cylinder block won't work because of that additional hole that corresponds to a lubricant or cooling circuit that is different on the B205.

I just saw that some other people say the B204 can work with the B205 head and T7 ECU, etc.
Now that I see you did it, it would be great if you could provide me your feedback.

do you have a plain gray dash that would fit a 9-3? I really need that...I havea cf overlay but unfortunately have a one-piece woodgrain in my 9-3
