turn signal bulbs

ok, I went on sylvania's website to find the correct size bulb for the front turn signals in my car (1999 viggen). They told me I needed bulb number 7507A. I wanted the bulbs that look blue but will obviously illuminate amber. So I got the "7507A ST" bulbs. Well they don't fit. The bulbs I got have two "knobs" of sorts (for lack of a better term) on the sides which are offset that lock the bulb into place in the socket. The bulbs I need are the type with the "knobs" in line with each other. I'm really tired now and can't keep all the bulb numbers straight in my head without being dyslexic. What number bulb is supposed to be in the turn signal?

If you have an advanced auto or autozone just take one out and go inside and look. You should be able to find what you need. Those are called silverstars, I think.

I have those silverstars. I ordered those because of the whole blue car, yellow bulbs, clear corners - doesn't look good. I might just do this tomorrow. thanks for the tip.

I found out when the owners manual had me buying two sets of the rear bulbs, i was like WTF!?!?!??!

so i thought if people stumble across my page they might see that

the owners manual is wrong on a few things acutally.
