WHY does my car have a cross flow IC?

It's not supposed to!

Stats:

2000 9-3 coupe 5 speed, BASE model, except for leather, and sunroof. I ran the vin and it comes up as a 185 lpt.

I was talking to JK about the new IC was going to get and we were looking at where it would go in, and all that fun stuff, and we he noticed an extra hose. Upon further invetstigation, it's a crossflow. We compared it to his GF's car (99 9-3) and it's totally a crossflow.

I'm so confused.

But happy.

Anyone have any theories?

Think your car just knows that it wants to be a pimp some day....so it went out and got itself a cross-flow while it was at the factory when nobody was looking

My 01 base 9-3 also has a crossflow. I had to check the part number to be sure but there it was! Too bad it doesn't have a TD04 also

Hey guys....do all T7s have a Viggen Cross Flow like mine or are the base models "cross flow, non-viggen ICs?"
