The Saab is finally back

It's been three months since I drove it and nearly a year since it was running well. I had a hole in the head gasket that was leaking coolant into the engine. I parked it for the last three months and drove a friend’s Audi. It was a good winter mt. car but I am glad the Saab is finally back. I bought a house 2 weeks ago and now have a garage to work in. I changed the head gasket this weekend and port matched the manifold and cylinder head with the gaskets. It’s running great right now. The boost is near 30 psi and even with a new Viggen clutch the torque it slipping it a little during hard shifts. But I’m going to be taking good care of the Saab, I want it to last a long time. I have a few more upgrades planned. Hope to have a new updated website soon.

Eric

I've been considering tackling the head gasket once school's out for the winter semester... because I'm curious, how much time do you think you spent changing the head gasket total? Granted I'm sure a few things have changed here and there between T7 and T5, but aren't the engines pretty much identical? Anyway, I just wondered because I have some residual oil lower on the block that the head re-torque did not take care of...

In other topics, beautiful car, let's see some more pics

Ahhh, well shit. I've looked at his site before, he's the one with the NG with the Viggen bumpers, right? My mistake. Anyway, head gasket job... what's the verdict?
