woo. nice pick up. i really like verts, too bad the winter seasons in the areas i live in would be too nice for that.
i really wish i could pick up a c900 vert and play around with it this summer. i guess we will see what i end up with as a summer job, as it might happen if i can find the right one for cheap enough.

but very nice find. and cmon, give us some details, mileage, maintenance, stuff like that. and damn give us more pics. lol

Nick

The plate stays, it has a history on the previous car. The ironic part is, I'm actually banned from Saabnet from my hope IP ;].

The car's a '95 SE turbo 5sp, found at the local auction. The body and interior are in excellent shape, the engine and suspension need work, but that's what I bought it for ;]

The old green hatch (seen on the picture) will get stripped, returned back to stock and sold (unless someone wants it as is , and the goodies will find their new home on the vert.

Congrats on the addition dip! That vert is gonna be such a sleeper once all the good stuff is swapped from the green hatch. I don't recall seeing any NG 900 verts on this board with all the mods yours will eventually have...although I've driven an NG900 convertible before and found the body excessively loose. Curious - should you be doing anything extra to strengthen the chassis aside from Nick's 6 point brace?

so is that a ng900 S being replaced by the vert? What mods on a 900S could go onto a Turbo? Or is that "SE" a 2.5V6 Vert? (ick)

its a swap from SE to SE. Both originally had 2.0 litre turbos. Though the original, green hatch is ridiculously modded right now.

You'll like your vert. I have a 95 SE 5 spd turbo as well, mine's the lighter red though. They're great, very fun. Just hope that your tonneau motor doesn't go out... ridiculously expensive to replace.

The tonneau motor works fine, no grinding or anything suspicious. Haven't yet checked if it has the reinforcement kit installed. The entire top is flawless, except for the 5th bow latch motor, which doesn't seem to work. Will look into that when I have a chance.

That was the next "suggestion"

Also, the NG/9-3 looks GREAT with the top down. Just the right size, and nice, clean lines!
