Viggen? SE? Aero?

Ok, I was recently looking at various saabs on ebay and I was wondering what kind of Saab is this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...QQcmdZViewItem

Rims seem to be like the 9-3 Aero, bodykit and seats seem to be viggen(except the viggen emblem on seats), engine is 2.0l and its an auto??

I was wondering since this was the last year of that body style if they gave viggen attributes to SE's? Sorta like they did on the 1998 9000's?

my guess is it is a 2002, not a 2003...it is a 9-3, maybe HOT? and is trying to be sold as a viggen wit ha CF dash insert, body kit, and seats....and no viggens are auto

In 2003 they put all the viggen equipment (minus the engine) into the SE verts I guess in an attempt to get people to buy the last year of that body style. Its for real, not just the seller dressing it up. I've seen a few of them with the ultra rare tan viggen seats, very cool if you ask me.

so to answer your question, yes, thats what they did.

There is one that I always see around my house...a 2003 with all the goodies that you could want (minus the 2.3 viggen motor). It seems that SAAB likes to dump all of the unused specialty parts on their cars toward the end of the model run (just before they come out with new body styles). They are sweet cars, essentially a viggen in appearance with the slightly more durable 2.0 HOT motor and generally with automatic transmissions.

Cool car!
