Control Arm Replacement - Brands

The passenger side lower control arm on my Viggen is toast, so I figured while I'm at it I may as well replace both sides. The car has relatively high mileage, so I take it pretty easy on it these days. Can I get away with using the pro parts sweden brand, or should I spend a little bit more for febi?

I know there are other brands available via Rock Auto that are comparable, but I can get duty free shipping to Canada by using eeuro.

I have a set of febi or Saab branb control arms with poly bushings that have less than 8k miles on them that I'll be selling pretty soon, not sure how quick you were looking to get your car fixed.

I've heard this in regards to some Pro Parts stuff, but I wasn't sure if it applied in this case.

I'm aiming to get it out of the way in the next week, or basically as soon as possible. How are the Febi's holding up?

Buy the cheapest ones you can get on rockauto and throw some GS poly in them.

When my ball joints went bad on the 2000 Viggen I replaced everything on rockauto.

Mevotech control arms and sway bar links, moog tie rods, and pro parts poly stanchion bushings I got on eeuro.

Very satisfied with the results.

I don't care what part it is but if you can, avoid proparts at all costs. Every part I have bought from them has been trouble in some way.
