New guy here

Hey what's up? I'm new here. I have a 1995 900 SE convert. It has 135k miles on it. And I love it. I have had it a few years now and it's been a great car. I have never owned a Saab before and I would definitely get another one if the opportunity came up. The only issue I have is that I think the convert. motor gears need replacing. And I have to figure out how to reprogram the radio. I replaced the battery a few weeks ago and it hasn't worked ever since. I will have to search the forum for the process.

Well just wanted to introduce my self.

I have a blue with a blue top. Yeah I love it. I wish it was a stick, but I'm not gonna complain. If I could figure out how to post a pic I would. I still have to play around with this site to try to figure it out. No major plans so far. I don't really know what all can be done. I will look around the site to see what I can find. What type do you have.

the radio reprogram is easy.

call a dealer or reputable indy give them the number on the back of the radio and sometimes the cars VIN and they will give you the code

sometimes you can luck out and the code is written on the radio itself so pop it out and check

Well I have what I think is the code written in the owner nerds manual. But my SID is all messed up. So I can't tell when it's asking for the code. I have tried the hold the band button down bit I can't get it to work. Any other options???

sadly no. only option is to enter the code. you can search online and try to guess what each step asks for or repair/replace the SID
