1999 93 low MPG

My parents' 93 has recently started getting low mileage on gas. From 23/33mpg city/hwy in went down to 15/25.

The boost is working just fine. No cel.

Auto tranny.

Where should I look? DIC? MAF?

When was the fuel filter last replaced? My 9-5 was getting crappy mileage (about 15 mpg) and I changed the filter and all went back to normal.

Tired o2 sensor, tired engine temp sensor, plugged cat, low compression, plugged air filter.

Air filter is easy to check, you can swap the front/rear o2 sensors, a OBD2 scanner can check the engine temp sensor.

Not to hard to make or find an O2 sensor port adapter for a pressure gauge to check the cat.
