I lost a nipple!
Did that get your attention? :P I went to install my SMBC tonight which is as easy as they say. However, when wiggling the bottom hose off the BPC I instead heard a little snap and so the nipple snapped clean off.
So I am going to buy a new BPC from the dealer tmro and am praying they have one in stock. But does anyone have an idea how much they cost? I might have seen someone say something like $25 but cant remember if that was for the BPC. Thanks ![]()

T7 is much less. eEuro says $53.60 So I would guess $100 at the dealer.

Well 10% off is better then nothin :P That was an expensive nipple. Nothing involving cars, no matter how simple the project, goes perfectly smooth ![]()

BPCs are a pain in the ass. Why don't they make them out of aluminum?

JB weld is good like that. Well the nipple was left in the hose and getting it out meant just chipping the plastic away since it was in there good. So instead of worrying about that winding up somewhere it shouldnt I clipped the 1/4" of hose off.

They (someone) should make a BPC out of 7000 series aluminum on a CNC machine. It would be strong, shiny, and best of all, if it was made right, re-buildable!
It won't happen. If it did, it would be like 300 bucks.

No doubt!
I just ordered a new one for my car (thanks wyld!), and I'm going to see if you can clean it at all, and if that makes any difference. Then I will dismantle it just for the hell of it...
