"Wire Runs"

I'm going to be installing an amplifier in the boot of my '98 900 SE and will have to run the wiring from front to back, under the carpeting.

Are there wire chases (runs, channels, etc.) in the floor boards to lay the wire in? If so, are they on both sides of the car - and where are they?

I appreciate any input; 4 ga power cable, RCA's, and 12 ga speaker wire would leave one h*ll of a lump in the carpet.

Thank you,

Rick M.

I ran my power along the drivers side, and all my signal wire down the passenger side, the only signal wire that runs along with power is the drivers side speaker cable (which shouldn't be very sensitive to picking up noise)

I ran the wires under the sill plates....Be careful of the plastic clips, they break easy and are expensive from the dealer.

I have 4ga power wire (I soon plan on upgrading to 2ga..3 amps) a remote turn on wire along with 16/4 speaker wire going down the drivers side on the passenger side I have 3 sets of RCA's along with 16/4 speaker wire and a Alpine Ai-Net cable. Its pretty tight on both sides, but very doable, and no lumps in the carpet.
