a few technical questions

What type of oil does the saab 9-3 2t run on?
can redex petrol injector be used?
is it ok to put in ron 97 or 98 fuel in?
Is it better to use geuine saab filters, spark plugs when servicing? or can brands like bosch, wix or champion be used
does the turbo require any special servicing? if so how regular and what exactly is done?

As far as oil, a lot of it is up to you. I'd definitely recommend a synthetic blend.

I've been using Valvoline 10W30.

I have always used 5w30. This would depend on climate, but 5w30 is a good all around oil. I run Mobil 1 synthetic as well.

For injector cleanor, I use Chevron with Techron.

I ran mid grade when my 9-3 was stock, but now its only premium.

I think you can use different types of oil filters without too much concern. Any major brand should do.

For sparkplugs, I use NGK. Get either BCPR6es-11 or BCPR7es-11.

No real special servicing for the turbo. I little trick to prolong the life is not to shut the car right off when the turbo is likely to be bery warm from hard use. As soon as you shut off the engine, the oil stops cycling through the turbo, which is not a good thing. Just let the car idle for a minute or two, or just go easy the last couple miles before you are going to shut the engine off.

~What Stromer said.

Importantly I would use only the NGK plugs recomended, and now that its colder out I have been running 89 Mon+Ron/2 octane.
