Question Power antenna wiring..

Need some help. Old antenna mast broke. Friend recommended to replace with OEM power antenna from JC Whitney. Doesn't fit exactly. Now I have a replacement mast, but cut the wires to to origional unit. Anyone have a wiring diagram?

There's 1 12V wire thats always hot as I recall, and 1 trigger wire. A multimeter should tell you which one is 12V

If you tell us what year/model, someone can probably get you the color codes for the wires.

That's right. I hooked mine up to a powered roof antenna and accidentally used the wrong one. I would've had a dead battery in a day if I hadn't caught my mistake.
