9-3 SE door compatible with Viggen?

The rusted door on my black Viggen 3-dr needs to go.

I found a driver's side door from a gray '01 9-3 SE. I was thinking of having it painted, letting it cure throughout the winter, and putting it on next spring. Is this possible?

and make sure you take your door molding strip off the viggen as they are different than a 9-3's (dark greyish/silver vs. flat black)

is there any difference in installing a 3 door car door from a 9-3 on a 5 door 9-3 of the same generation other than molding strip. Are the areas the same physically?

I have learned that the harness is also diff between a ng900 and og9-3.

You used to be able to get the needed stickers from the dealer too. Not sure how that is now.
