Viggen Updates

Just wanted to make a thread where I'll post all my updates on the car while it progresses.

I mounted the Vector wheels on my car last week, I love the look of them a lot more than the ASAs. I plan on sometime running some spacers to give them a better look, just need to find out what size spacers will work best. Maybe in the near future I might plasti dip them with their gun metal gray.

Also lowered the car a few weeks ago using Konis. I think it came out great and handles a lot better.

The next step is to get rid of my stage 1 tune and install a stage 3/3+/4 whatever you want to call it. I have a nice 3.5 bar fpr waiting to go in also.

Looks great! Did you just use the Koni springs with the stock shocks and struts? It rides well?

Yes, I'm using the stock shocks and struts as of now. The PO replaced them all and I couldn't justify spending the money when they only had about 20k on them. It rides great, when they go in the next year or so I'll replace them but good for me right now.

I know the wheels you're talking about! My mom has them on her fusion. Next time I see her I'm going to snap a picture of both cars for you. lol

I envy anyone with jack covers! They're worth their weight in gold. If you ever decide to get rid of your spares put me on your list to call.

When abdukted had his black 9-3 with the Viggen kit, he zip-tied them on. So if they came un-clipped, they would just hang down a little bit and not be lost to the interstate gods.

That's a good way to blow those stock struts. Pull them out and sell them used and put the matched Koni's in there.

It will ride much better as well, the strut is a larger improvement than the spring.

Snapped a quick cell phone picture, not the best but I ended up mounting it straight to the bumper.
