Talking 99 9-3 Service Security Alarm on SID

When I start my 99 9-3 the SID shows "Service Security Alarm". How can I get rid of this.

Well ordinarily you either repair or replace the siren box. If you don't want to spend the money on that, you can unplug the siren, remove it and go in with a Tech 2 and reprogram the SID to stop displaying the message. Your remote/central locking will still work, just no chirp chirp.

As long as you fix that license plate light. Call me when you get done with work and I'll swing by and fill out the paperwork.

It's fixed brother....and I even got a muffler, rear brakes, and e-brake parts so I can fix it when I go to CNY this weekend. I figured you were busy enough, so I would at least attempt to get the e-brake semi-functional myself. Let me know if John will be in town. Maybe we can all go to the Distillery for some food.
