Radio Code

I have a parts car which i picked up which had the factory radio(when i bought my 94 900s it never came with it) .... so i want to use it ... called SAAB Halifax to get the code ... and they wanna charge me for it

It was only 20$, not that big of deal, but the principal of charging is ridiculous

Is it just this dealership that charges for that, or is it all dealers?

Some do some don't. They can do it because they really are the only ones who can tell you the code.

A few people here work at dealerships and might have been able to help you out.

Some Saab mechanics - theres maybe 2 in central pa, both get them free of charge. I think it's just the dealers that charge for them.
