Swedish Sludge!! come & see..

..the continuing saga..

so my parts came in so I could change my oil pump gears & front seal...

the Indy 500 just ended.. we got a rain delay for the Coke 600..

what the hell.. too many rumours about sludge .. let me drop the pan for the hell of it ..

first take a look at my Chocolate factory..

loose head bolt #10

causes this..

YUCK !!

cleaned that up.. put in a new valve cover gasket

Wow. Are you sure it was just that one head bolt that was letting coolant in?

Or did some kid think it was a good idea to pour chocolate milk down the PCV valve?

Nice pics. I'm somewhat afraid of what I'd find if I pull off the oil pan of my OG.

See now, that just looks like a blown head gasket to me, not sludge.

Not much can be screwed up, assuming you make sure you torque everything down to factory specs.

if your HG has let that much coolant by, chances are, it's DED.
I'd consider doing a head gasket shortly.
