Difference between RFL bov and the forge

i have a rfl bov and a forge.. which do u guys think is the better out of the 2... the rfl bov i son the car n i like it cause it seems louder than the forge.. just trying to see which one is better over all.. thanks matt

Yeah diff. ratings of psi per spring. Like how much they can hold up to.

Valve Spring color coding


Green - 5-15 PSI


Yellow - 15-23 PSI


Blue - 23-30 PSI


Red - 30 + PSI

Use the green spring. Thats what some high hp cars are running (if they are running a forge) and it holds boost perfectly.

yes. use the green spring the heavier springs are a good way to get compressor surge and blow up your turbo

I don't understand the use of heavier springs. The vacuum line should have equal pressure to what the other side of the piston has from the back side, so there should be no issues. The spring is only there to hold the initial inequality in pressure I guess.

well im only running a stock tune with a mbc+a... so ill keep the spring thats in it... i like the rfl cause it is louder.... but ill will end up putting the forge on since it is a better bov...
