I got a "new" red DI from them. It had no stickers on it whatsoever and it was spray painted red with a ton of over spray. It did work however.

It's such a crappy design that saab did that makes you replace the whole damn arm that they should be this cheap. I would go for it and report back. I mean for that price, you really can't go wrong.

I would personally rather buy a pair of known good used ones form a junkyard than those for half the price.

Especially if they are spray painting DI cas. It was probably a cheaper black T7 unit they sprayed red.

Well it certainly isn't Saab OEM as they say in the description. Though if you want to try and report back, I know we'd all benefit from it.

I've bought those and installed them - just as good as OEM as far as I know looks wise. They are made in Germany anyways - so they gotta be good! I've bought parts from him a few times - good parts, great prices. Don't fear the deal

How do you know they are made in Germany? The DI's were manufactured in the NE, even though the a**hole said they were OEM. Take your chances, but don't say you weren't warned. Sounds like Burnside got lucky.

Search for deutsche parts or euroasiana on the forum.
they stole 150 bucks from me.
they have a number but nobody answers it, you leave a voicemail so they can have some laugh later.
it says made in germany.. Shamwow is from germany too, right? You know germans do the best stuff, lol.

Took me for $300. I wish I knew a vigilante that could take care of this for everyone. Wishful thinking.

as far as my local dealer... i work for them... in parts.... thus the sig.
we only offer OEM arms which are way over priced in my opinion, even for my employee price. i am simply going to go with my original plan and buy the Karlyn arms from Eeuroparts. i have done searches about these and haven't come up with any bad reports.

thanks again to all for the input! **phew!**

I bought one of these off CL.... I need a passenger side one. I paid $100... The guy got sent 2 LH side ones and then they sent him a RH side and told him he could keep the extra one....

We're (John and I) installing it on my 99 9-3 shortly. John replaced the rubber with Polyurethane already. If it fails...
