900NG front brakes 94-96 vs 97 up

does anyone know why the 97 and up front rotors wont fit on an older 94-96 saab 900 ?? the hubs appear to have the identical part # so then it must be the spindles are different ??

97+ hubs are larger diameter....

Brakes were changed in 97 as part of the model upgrades

The reason why the hub part number is the same is because you can't get the older larger ones anymore.

They are a different diameter. especially on the rear. I am a bit slow and accidentally chose the wrong ones from GS and yeah they are a lot smaller. I just noticed upon my wheel swap for summer the size difference. They fit and work just aren't very good for stopping.

If you need some rear sport rotors for 96 i can sell you my slightly used ones at a pretty hefty discount (once i get the right ones purchased and installed)

Rear hubs are alot easier to swap than fronts.

oh yeah i've been through that before with replacing a front bearing on a honda Accord... the bearing wouldnt come out on the press and had to be cut out with a reciprocating saw.
hey SRP - how much do you want for the knuckle and hub assemblies??? Shipping would be to Solana Beach CA, 92075.

Lets say $125 shipped. It will not be a light package. If you don't need the springs and shocks it will be lighter.
