Viggen wheel well cutouts.

Does anyone with an updated EPC have the part number for the rear wheel well cutouts for the Viggen?

Im talking about the peice you have to hack out if you put 17's on a NG or 9-3, right in front of the rear tires, below the rear quarter panel. Id like to put the Viggen peice in when I get my car re-painted/body work done for a cleaner look.

I think your talking about the stone gaurd right in front of the wheel on 3 door models. The thing that needs to be trimed is the plastic bolt that holds the back of the side skirt on. Is the stone gaurd what you want a number for?

yeah my convt. has that. it has a few mm of room that can be shaved off. In the WIS it gives instructions for fitting the larger wheels.

I painted my stockers, and didn't think any hacking was needed to fit bigger tires. Ced had a big set of wheels on. See if he did anything.

Check the EPC. I think the 17 equipted cars have a diff bump stop. (I know actually)

Yea, trouble is my EPC only goes to 98 which doesnt include the vigs or 17 equiped cars for the best of my knowledge. I know Im not out of my mind on this, Ill snap a pic of mine sometime today, and I also know 100% for sure that the VIG has a different cutout AND that I DID have to cut out my wheel well to get my wheels to fit, as did Wyldsaabman to get his RKII's to fit - maybe its just the offset of certain wheels or maybe the SE 9-3's came with the cutout wheel wells.

Coop, I know what you are talking about. I have a 4 door with the Vig Wheels mounted with 17 x 8's. The issue isn't so much of them not fitting in but more of the shitty suspension. Its too spongy and if you hit a large bump the wheels rub. Its twn times worse when you have a loaded car. I belive the only real solution is to upgrade your suspension completely. I say completely because I have GR-2s and KYB's and there is still rubbing. Another factor is the tirewall height. I have 45's in nitto rubber but nitto 45 is more like 50 in normal rubber. Awesome tires but im trimming the sidewalls off slowly with each bump. Another problem that could compound the issue is that if you do upgrade the suspension then you are lowering the car and providing less clearance height wise. Yes you get a stiffer ride but is it stiff enough to prevent rubbing?
