2.5"

60mm is the size of the stock pipe, and is real close to the 60mm. Easy to weld or clamp.

Which flex pipe are we talking about? The front one right by the turbo (not all cars have it) or the one after the cat? The exhaust pipe size on the 900/9-3 is 2.25" (57 mm, while 9-5s have 60 mm). I just had to replace the flex pipe (the one that's after cat) on a stock NG900, and we welded in a 2.25" x 8" piece - it was a perfect match.

for the 2 times I've had to replace the flex pipe on 2 different cars (the flex pipe after the cat), I had the shop weld in a solid pipe with a slight bend. Much cheaper and no problems to date.

i second that.... my "welder" did a ho-hum job, but it gets the job done

but 2.25 diameter pipe is for the NG900/og9-3. Fits perfect
