Cool illustration

I hadn't seen this before, found it last night.

Found it at this site, which is a cool little page.

And because I heart engineering cutaways:

Nice find... top one says max boost of 20 psi, isn't that high for a stock viggen?

A lot of people were looking for the bottom picture in a bigger layout, so that's good

Yeah click that pic, it's a pretty decent size.

I've heard various places that it has a peak boost of 20psi, but until I hook a true gauge up I don't believe it. Almost all turbo cars from the factory run a max of 14.7 psi.

Thats the max the turbo and software CAN support. You might see that at high alltitude. But due to the T7 and MAF the boost is variable. On stock software I didnt see more than 12psi. I see 16psi at stage 3.

I think it's closer to 21lbs actually. I see it every day in Denver.

Its specifically 20.3lbs max boost.....so your gauge may read 21psi

Hahahahaha-Don't we all wish we lived at that altitude. At sea level a stock viggen will boost to mid 12's + or - with 93 octane and hold for the most part.
Very cool pic!
