what do you think of your 9-5 after a few months

Right so my dearest mother is test driving NG 9-5's so her C900 cabrio can return to sunny weather duty. She is looking at the turbo4 , 6 and the manual and automagic's...This is for the people who have had the cars for a few months of longer..how do you like the car , is it performing well, whats the day to day like?

From a service point of view, I have 6 that I've sold. All but 1 have been totaly trouble free other than softwear updates. The other one is a 10 Aero returning with an oil leak.

I would be best to wait till they are giving them away ( sorry moon) or at least till you have an idea of what the warranty / service situation will be...

the 10 aero has been good, other than a leaky coolant hose off the turbo when new and onstar activation pains (but really who gives a crap about onstar) its been an awesome car. 25k otherwise trouble free miles. headlights seem to be aimed a bit high despite the dealership saying they are spot on but i'll remedy that with ye old screw driver and the garage wall.

That being said its not perfect, but its a beast given its size and weight, you can really throw it around like a much smaller car, its amazing in the snow with a solid set of winter shoes, and it looks great, amazingly comfortable. It lacks refinement in some areas, but i've never owned a saab that hasn't. Other than my '91 9k. That car is faultless.... *

she found one and put a deposit down on a turbo 4 premium in Fjord blue with a stick and it has the sat nav, HK audio and the deal threw in a warranty to service it even if saab stops...
