How scared would you be of a 2005 9-3 with 200k?

May have the chance to pick up a 2005 9-3 with just over 200K on it. Mileage is obviously high but it's in really nice shape and very cheap. Am I nuts for considering it?

We just traded my wife's 2004 9-3 Convertible with around 191k miles on it back in Feb... If there weren't so many incentives on the new ones there's no reason why she wouldn't be driving it. It was reliable and never caused us any trouble. I'd think one with 200k wouldn't be a problem as long as it's been maintained.

How cheap is cheap?

I would probably like to see a stack of records...depending on the price.

But, by that point, most of the issues have been dealt with too, so...

Mechanicals are pretty bullet proof if it doesn't have tons of corrosion - if it's really cheap it could be a good commuter.

By cheap I mean about $1500-$1700.

For $1500-1700 I'd buy it and not think twice.

definitely pick it up, at the very least turn around and resell it.
