serpentine belt tensioner help 2003 9-3 2.0

I will be replacing the tensioner on a 2003 9-3 2.0 turbo. There is about 2 inch of clearance between the tensioner bolt (15 mm) and the fender frame. It looks like I can remove the tensioner from below with a long 15 mm open end wrench. My fear is getting the new one threaded back on. there is not enough room to get your hand in there to get the bolt in place.

any suggestion before I end up removing the engine mounts and jacking up the engine? The Chiltons book is of little help. I gotta believe this is doable somehow.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

You have to support the engine from underneath when you unbolt the engine mounting block on the passenger inner fender anyway, then you can raise the engine up enough for the bolt to clear the impact beam.

Make sure you have a soft block of wood and some towels under the oil pan so you don't crack it with a jack.

Welcome to the board, make sure you introduce yourself.

motor mount torque rate

thanks for the advise! Would you know where to find the torque settings for the motor mounts that I will need when I put it back together?
