Does anyone know what this is?

Found this attached to a throttle body of a 2002 9-3 SE. Never seen it before or mentioned by anyone on this site. Looks like an airfoil.
Thanks!
Rich

Does it serve a purpose or benefit? My 9-5 did not come with it. TD-04 option?

I believe it serves the same purpose as the screen on the MAF. I say try it without it and let us know if you notice a difference.
