Yes.

You push a button. It turns on and off.

It's a fantastic system, it saved my SS from a guardrail on at least one occasion. It works very well and is not as intrusive as any previous SAAB systems.

yea they have ESP. When you click the button on the dash you will see in the info screen show the ESP has been turned off.

Its a good system. It will not let you turn it off if you are traveling above a certain speed (35mph iirc).

I was confused by that, I had a 2009 9-3 automatic as a loaner car and for the life of me could not find the ESP button.

I was test driving 09 automatics yesterday and it was in the same place as my 2003 m/t.

Directly left of the volume knob on the radio (at least in the older cars, not sure about the new).

35mph is the limit on mine... Once you exceed that, the system won't let you turn it off.

Ah, ok... It was annoying since I was testing the car a bit and the TCS kept cutting in.

Are you sure you weren't test driving a 9-5? On at least the '08 +'09 9-3s, ESP is turned on and off under settings in the SID, there is no button.

You, sir, are correct. We test drove both but I was confusing the "sport" button with the "ESP" button in my 2003 6-speed.

I was designated passenger, from my seat the 9-5 was better, but my buddy swears the 9-3 was better.
