Kumho Ecsta ASX

Bad tires? I am a poor college student and I am looking at a cheap set of tires and these are the cheapest.

At this point it doesn't matter. I'm just trying to get a decent set of rubber on the wheels.

My brother has them on his car.

I think he likes them, I have never herd anything bad about them. People have rated them very well on tire rack. I say why not?

For 85% of the motoring world, all-seasons are just fine.

Kumho makes a good tire.

They aren't terrible. They aren't great, either. They are cheap rubber.

Sounds like thats what you need, so go for it.

I bought a set for the 9-2. I didn't get a chance to really beat on them but they seemed to be an excellent tire for the money.

Deals on Kumho tire sets that are brand new pop up on ebay all the time. Keep an eye out.

I have these mounted on my stock 17s for the winter... we have gotten some snow here in indiana (1-3 inches usually) and my car gets through just fine.... I have these for just driving around in the winter, so I couldnt tell you how they perform if I pushed them... Definitely dont have any complaints about them.

I have them on my 9-3. They tend to break loose a bit but they are a predictable, quiet, good all around tire. For the price I would never have expected to get something this good.

I drove in some pretty heavy snow and didn't have any complaints. They weren't phenomenal, but I was able to do what I had to do with no problems. I was also able to get up my driveway which is something my housemate with his Mazda 3 can't and I wouldn't have been able to on the P6s I replaced.

One of the best bang for the budget buck out there.

I had them on my old 9-3.

One word I would definitely NOT use to describe them is quiet.

After ~12k these fuckers are LOUD.

Still, bang for buck they are hard to beat.

LOL, I may be skewed. I bought the car with P6s that I can only assume were on the car since new. These were a HUGE improvement in noise.
