Suspension Part Question

It is my understanding that the 9-3ss shares a chassis (GM Epsilon platform) with several other vehicles (malibu max, opel, and others, I think).

If I were able to locate suspension parts, a front or rear strut tower bar in particular, would it, in theory work on my 9-3ss?

Apologies if this is a re-post, I don't believe in doing any research prior to posting.

I doubt the front strut tower bars would work because of the coolant bubble being in the way.

That was not the question.

I know it wasn't the whole question but I threw my 2 cents in.

in theory i'd say yes because i doubt saab would have done anything to change the location/size of the strut towers...the only thing that may not work is the bolts coming through the tower may not line up with a malibu's strut bar holes for example.

Chassis sharing is an inexact science. Case in point: A NG900 and a 99-02 9-3 share the same chassis...but parts of the suspension are definitely different, including the location of the strut mount points on the towers.

If you can test fit something in person, I'd go that route before buying.....
