Anyone have shots from the NE auto show of the Turbo X car? I've seen the stock shots and a couple others... but looking for the down and dirty ones.

OK so this was bothering me.

The wheels, I didnt like the covered lug nuts.

So I saw in one pick exposed lugs and liked the wheels better. Upon examination the drivers side of the car had covered lugs and the passenger side has exposed lugs. I am not crazy, just have a damn good eye.

pass side:

thats money - exposed vs unexposed

i kind of like both the wheel centercaps (exposed and unexposed).

how funny. i'm sure it's a rat race getting a car like that ready for a show. but did they really think they'd fool all the saab folk gazing at pics on the internetz? i give them bonus points for trying.

The official explanation from John Libbos, Product Manager for the 9-3, was that the left rear center cap got somehow screwed up and for the sake of continuity, they removed the front, pasted in some Saab center caps and popped on some lug bolt covers.

Oh really? So what wheels are they going to use in the production of the car?

Yes, but they didn't do it to all 4 wheels, they only did it to half the car.

The ones with the caps will be the production wheel.
