08 vert has side strips?

www.saabusa.com. It has color matched side strips and the sedan doesn't O.O

That's correct. None of the sedans/combis have the side strips. The 'vert doors appear to be left overs from the previous generation. If you look at the doors on the sedan/combis, they have retro styled handles which look alot like the ones off the 9000s only color matched. Personally, I like the new doors (mainly because of the 9k looking handles,) but they really need the trim strips. The doors just look awkward without them.

The new door handles are cadi BLS handles if I recall correctly.

Is GM doing this across the board? My friend has a 2007 Monte Carlo SS in white, and he had no rubstrips so he had a bodyshop paint ones from an older generation one and put them on, cant wait to see all the door dings

I've noticed car companies doing it in general. Take a look at the new BMWs and I think Lexus and Acura have done away with them as well.

like I have said before, I guess people have recently stopped parking in parking lots? The ones I park in, if I didn't have rub strips, I'd probably pick up at least one door ding every single time!
