Shocks for 2011 9-3X SportCombi

Hello remaining TSL'ers.

A friend has a 2011 9-3 XWD SportCombi. He's trying to find rear shocks. So far, our searches have come up with squat.

I assume the spec for the xwd wagon is different from fwd wagons, and definitely not the same as the sedans.
Can anyone confirm my reasoning? Know where to find the correct parts?

Thanks.

I don't know much about the self-leveling component of these XWD rear shocks, but I did come across this:

https://www.esaabparts.com/saab/parts/93001302

Maybe this can at least point in the right direction? Good luck.

esaabparts….that's the site name I couldn't remember. This will certainly help...Thanks!

Self-leveling on the xwd wagons...yikes. No wonder the few parts we found listed anywhere were extremely expensive.

I have an 08 and had 1 go bad. Cost me $600 for it, then the other went and decided to replace all around with Hirsch. Got them through Swedish Motorsports in New York.

But the original has the following on the label

GM 12848629
NH 4843
W21
ZF Sachs
894104000585

Thanks for the info. I'll pass it on to my buddy.
I think he's got a pair of Bilsteins for a sedan on the wagon now. He says they're doing the job but the rear end stance is obviously wrong.

Yes, I think he's open to any option that will give him a reasonable or near-stock stance and ride.
