Haven't posted in ages. Need advice.

I haven't posted in years. Not since I had to let my Viggen go. Bright side I still get to see it around town.

I've been in a Mitsubishi since. Not a fun Lancer or something, a Galant.

I'm finally at the point where I want to get back into a Saab. I want a new gen 9-3 and I'm torn. Is there a ridiculous noticeable difference between the Aero and Arc? Even with the V6?

Are we talking the difference between a og 9-3 and my Viggen?

I also have the opportunity to buy an 01 9-5 Aero wagon (4cyl) with 135k and meticulously maintained by a good Saab friend's neighbor. BBS wheels. $1800. Good deal?

I want to be pinned to my seat again. What should I be looking for?!

Also, I want to bring this to Carlisle. The past few times I've come as a spectator, I want to come this year as an owner again.

If the 9-5 is a stick, I would be all for it. 9-5 Aero wagon is where former Viggen owners find renewed Saab love.

$1800 for a meticulous 9-5 wagon sounds like a deal to me.

Went and drove it today with chriscam84. He checked it all out for me. All service records for the entire life of the car were there. Maintained at Charles River Saab and then Swedish Imports here in Maine. Even had a notebook of all gas fill ups and oil changes. The original spare had never been touched either, was like lifting up the lid on a time capsule.

Had the original 9-5 brochure too. And in the glovebox? The untouched manual and Saab driving suite CD. He even threw in some new snows on separate wheels.

I lucked out I think. And I'm a Saab owner again!
